Hi, My hubby is building me a website (with alittle help from me).

Where do I find valuable content to add so that it will be an interesting site to visit? Do you pay people to write articles, etc?

Thanks,

Shana

It's best to have original content that either you write or you could pay somebody else to write it. Check out the WAHMs Who Write forum here. There's also free articles you can get all over the place (don't have urls off the top of my head).

THis is a GREAT article by Carl Sorensen

Adwords is a marketing medium that can be absolutely brutal to a newbie or someone just getting started.

ROI is extremely important. Most of the clients I take on for adwords campaigns are in high ticket programs with really high commissions. If you're commissions aren't that high then you need to commit to Google long-term if you want to turn a profit.

If you are just starting out online I would suggest that you maybe try your hand at writing a few targeted articles about getting paid to shop online.

Some examples.

"5 Things You Never Knew About Shopping Online"

"Paid To Shop Online - Whats The Scoop?"

"Where Can You Get Paid To Shop Online?"

"5 Things You Need To Know About Paid Shopping Online"

These are just a few ideas for articles you could write. These don't need to be long pieces just a simple 500 - 800 word article.

In your "Authors Box" you can include a short little blurb about yourself including your website links.

You can submit your articles at some of the following places.

1. www.goarticles.com (http://www.goarticles.com/)

2.www.ezinearticles.com (http://www.ezinearticles.com/)

3. www.articlesender.com (http://www.articlesender.com/)

4.www.workoninternet.com (http://www.workoninternet.com/)

Why am I suggesting you try article writing? Here's why:

1. Article writing is FREE. It costs you nothing but time.

2. Articles you write and submit can and will be picked by webmasters all over the world and your articles will be run on their sites, blogs or ezines.

3. When a site syndicates your article you will be gaining back "one-way" links to your chosen website (the one you're promoting in your authors box) One-Way links are one of the KEYS to getting a top ranking in the engines.

4. The more articles you write and distribute related to your topic the better chance you have of getting one published.

5. Articles bring TRAFFIC to your site. It's not uncommon to have your articles picked up by the search engines and listed on the first page of results for your keywords. (I have several)

I will leave it at that for now. Article writing is something that I wish I had spent more time on a few years ago. The results are fantastic.

The least expensive way to gain content would be toinclude articles of interest consistent with the subject of your website. Please review http://www.copyright.gov/fls/fl102.htmlbefore going on a click and copy spree! On the web, there already exists a variety of information such as articles and the Wiki experience. You can contact the articles authors and request the ability to reproduce the article with attribution to the author and more importantly, the author's web site. Consider including RSS feeds to your web site. These are inexpensive methods for adding quality content to your web site.

Good Luck!

Thank you for the copyright info. I was wondering what I needed to do to use articles that I find interesting.
