Hi all,

My daughter just made me a bunch of scent samples. She's 15 and she said it was fun. Go figure. Anyway, how do youstore your scent samples? Do they need to be kept cool? I'm a little concerned because the heat will be going on soon.

I store my scent samples in plastic containers. The ones you would use for leftovers ect...I dont want to use name brands.
I store SOCP in one, Hot Apple Pie in one, and French Vanilla in one.
By the way...if you put a HAP and a FV in a Simmer Pot it is YUMMY together.

Hi Anna-

I also store my in plastic containers. I know some people use those stackable things you can buy at Walmart. They have like 3-4 drawers in them. They are plastic also. Use anything really that seals the scent in.
I wouldn't worry about the heat in your house...as long as they aren't directly in line with a vent. I've kept mine in my car during the summer (in GA!) and they were fine...so I don't think the heat in your house would hurt them. HTHEdited by: nldeviney

I use the 3 door stackable things you can get from Walmart. I really like them. I actually store mine in ziplock bags then put the bags in a drawer. One for each scent I have.

My scent samples are in the little craft baggies and then stored by scent in a big zip lock bag. I haven't had any problems and they are stored in my house.

And, give em out as soon as possible and you'll have no worries :-)

Hi all,

I use our jars! After I'm done burning one of our fantastic jar candles, I save the jar, wash it out, and that's where I put my little sample bags. As tight as our lids fit on our jars, it seals the scent in for a very long time. lol............The jar is labeled, and these work perfect! You can also store the powder in these until you are ready to put it in the bags. hth........

I love this business! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif

Another good use for the jars is if customers are getting Mia Melts...I save mine and collect my empties from customers.then when someone buys a pack of melts I give them a jar to store their melts in. They look so pretty through the glass...you can see how many you have left.Customers can take the sticker from the Mia Melt bag and put it right on the jar top so they know what the scent is. It also lets them easily see when they are running low :). Dont think I am a genious...just crafty!
