<DIV =postcolor>My mom wanted me to do something, but I don't know how. She gets these graphic letters in her email from people who make them. She then turns around and has someone piece the letters together in Paintshop Pro to make one graphic spelling out the names of her grandkids.

Does anyone know how this is done? She asked if I can do it. I have the program, just don't know how to use it.

Hi Fred~

Here's how I would do it:

Open a new document the size that you want it. Make sure it will fit on the page you want to print to.

Individually, copy and paste each letter on its own layer in psp. In other words make a new layer for each letter.

Make a guideline above and below the lettersso you can line them up. Not sure about psp but in Photoshop you just click on the ruler at the top of the doc and drag down a guideline. Probably not much different in psp.

When you get everything lined up like you want then merge layers or flatten image and it will become one layer with the name on it.

Good luck. If you have more questions feel free to pm me.

Do you know how to use tubes? Put the alphas in your tubes folder.

Like, Jace said, make sure you put each letter on its own layer so you can move them around.

Go to "View" and "Guides" and bring a guide down, line up your letters and merge.
