My status is on hold and i read some post that people have been on hold for close to a year. I dont get why some are on hold and some get a job offer in an hour or a day. Anyone know why they put people on hold. Is it because you didnt do well interviewing,or somthing else. Please reply with answers.

"On Hold" is not bad at all. It means they will email you when projects come available or until a project comes available that matches your skills. I had an interview back in Nov. and I have been getting alot of opps lately. Hope I helped some. There is also a folder for Cloud 10 at
www.workplacelikehome.com
Good Luck!

Ty for the info. I will check that site out. I just get anxious waiting.

It's OK to get anxious -- but you'll do a lot better if you learn patience! It really does pay off!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif

Getting anxious and uptight won't change anything....it won't make them contact you any faster, it won't change what they want to send to you, etc. All it does is raise your blood pressure!

Take a deep breath and relax!!! You'll hear from them when it's time. In the meantime, just look around and see what else is out there that's more flexible, so you'll be ready when they contact you.

A lot of it with Cloud 10 depends on when you are available and such to. You may be offered a campaign but not be able to do it due to the hours offered. Its not bad though at all. I was on hold for a bit and then picked up for a GREAT campaign. It is soooo worth the wait.

I applied in Jan. 08. Finished all my testing in less than 2 weeks. Had my phone interview in a couple of days and by the end of Jan. they had already offered me 3 different positions to choose from. I selected one had my last inteview and was hired to work a permanent project by the 28th of Jan. I am starting my training tomorrow. It went REALLY fast for me. Maybe I got in at the right time. BUT I was referred by a current employee and I read they give employee referals preferential treatment. ;) Good Luck!!

I was also referred by a current employee. But I think some of the long "hold" times may be due to the OS those people are using. They are not currently set up to use Vista, but I know that they will take an application and place you on hold if you have Vista as they are working to get software that is compatible with Vista.

Other than that, right now Hold times are very short as they are on a bit of a hiring spree. So if it's been a while and you haven't heard anything and you are not running Vista, then I'd shoot hr an e-mail to "remind them" that you are available.

I hope you hear something soon!

Count me in with the others "on hold"
I really need to yak with someone that has done these jobs (WAH). I have a TON (25+ years) of experience with call centers, upselling, cold calling, etc. I even ran a phone room two different times.
I understand the non-compete and want to make sure that I am getting paid good- so I applied everywhere.
Now, I have some choices to make and not sure which company is best to work for.
Cloud 10 is hourly, but I also heard that they pay for what you are worth.
LiveOps? WorkingSolutions? AcDirect??

Hey all, quick update!.Since my post i was offered 3 positions today...and today is feb 17. I applied om the 13 so took 4 days. I can and will take a position ..I am just choosing. @ I could start training on either of 2the 13 of Marchor 1 on March 3rd. I will hold for maybe the 13th cause the pay is more. By the way... training seems to pay a lump sum not hourly on all 3 projects.

Cloud 10 question: Do you have to have a landline to work for them, and do they only hire in certain states?

Thanks in advance?

I was offered 3 jobs within two days of my interview. I have over 20 yrs CS exp and over 4 yrs WAH exp. Maybe that helped?http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley23.gifUnfortunately I had to decline for now because of conflict in my schedule.

My advice is if it has been longer than two weeks since your interview-contact the HR dept to follow-up. Make sure you didn't get lost in the shuffle. Good luck!!

I just had my interview today with Cloud 10 with Regina. I think that it went very well. She said that they are very busy right now so it shoudnt be long until I am contacted. I am really excited and I hope that they email me soon.

I applied a week or two ago and was told I didn't meet the minimum requirements. I have no idea which one I didn't meet because they didn't say. They did say if my situation changes I can reapply in 6 months but I have no idea what situation needs to change. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif

IF you have Vista can you still work with Cloud 10? I have a interview tonight and I know alot of companies are updating their application/software in order to be compatible.

i just applied with Cloud10 it directed me to the skills test. I went thru the intro then it told me the skills test was under reconstruction. Anyone else get this message? It also told me that they would send me to the next stage within 36 hours.
