I'm torn...
I completed application last night, just received a email asking me to proceed to the next step Recruit Application.

This is my situation... really looking for honest feedback & opinions...

I work outside the home 30 hours a week, grossing $300.00 per week, doing sales, cold calls, CSR work.
Really not so much happy there & wanting to work from home, at least 30 or so hours a week.
I have searched high & low on this board, ad's, etc..
Again, filled out WEST app last night.
If anyone working for WEST currently give me HONEST feedback, how is the job, how many hours are you getting, how is pay, do you choose your position, or is it chosen for you. Are you told you will be doing 1 thing, and then taken away & given something else...

Thannks for any feedback. I really do appreciate all the good support on here that is given to each other.

I know there are others that are currently working for them that could probably give you a more accuratefeedback, but I worked for them about 2 years ago and I had a great experience working for them. I had to quit because I got pregnant and and evening sickness and I was so tired after my full time job I just didn't have the strength to work more.
It sounds like the place you are working at isn't very organized. West was always very professional and organized with me. Once I trained on one system of calls they gave me the option to train on other types of calls. What I liked the most was how I could make my own schedule although you have to be on the ball to get the good shifts and good rates.

I would work for them again if I could, but my son makes too much noise.

By the way I made anywhere from $200-$400 every two weeks working evenings and weekends. I think you could make a decent full time job out.Edited by: howca

Hi, thanks for the info. I am big on research, and have done lots of it.
Guess we'll see where this takes me.
Seems like a lot to learn, when to schedule hours, taking calls, etc... but I'll see where it leads me.
Thanks again!

I don't work for them at the moment, but I just wanted to let you know that the application process takes some time. So if you decide to go through with it, I wouldn't quit your current job until you know when you are going to actually start work for them.

I applied two weeks ago, filled out all of my forms, and am waiting on HR to complete the hiring process. I've heard this could take up to 2 months. So far it's the only real down side side to them, but once you get past that I've heard they are great.

If you go to the W*st folder you will get some answers to your questions. From what I've read people work up to 40hrs a week and make good money.
