Unhappy Generating Leads

Hello everyone,

I am curious as to what are people doing to generate leads? I am getting hits but no one has taken a tour and put in their information to even become a lead. I've advertised on craigslist, another free classified website, a few forums, three safelists that goes out fo thousands of people, and I've even paid to get my ads posted to see if that would generate some sales/leads. I know it's early in the game to get frustrated but I at least wanted to make my $77 back before my $7.70 trial was over. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Brandi

Hey Brandi - can you send me an email (copy Julie) and give me examples of the ads you are running? I get a lot of leads from CL, I love that site! I find that people are willing to watch a webinar to see if an opportunity is right for them. So, I send them to my /launch site which you have one as well. They will opted in just to register for our weekly LIVE Webinar "Pathway to Prosperity". My email is [email protected].

Cheers,

I'm in the same boat as you, Brandi. It's quite frustrating and disappointing for sure. CL has done pretty much nothing for me but ghost my ads. Rather annoying.

Michael,

Craigslist is just one of many ways to obtain leads.
But, try changing some of the wording on your ads if your
using the same ad.
Or create some others

Brandi,

It's been my experience as well as others safelist are probably not the way to go.
You'll get hits but not many op-ins , Because they are clicking for credits,
The only way you might get your desired results is to join multiple safelist (a lot of them)
and be post every chance you can,
The suggestions for advertising in the back office are really good.

As Mike D advised, the best results do come from CL using the webinar ads. Give me a call, and we'll discuss this further so you can begin getting some leads.

Thanks for the advice Mike. That's what I've been doing already. Rotating between 7, 8 or more ads I put together and some the Julie shared with me. And like you suggested as well, on about 8 other sites besides Craigslist.

Lead generation is not as complicated as others make you believe, particularly if you have a target market already. Generating a lead may be the sole purpose of your site or a small piece of your marketing mix. Lead generation is a value exchange.

I know that Craigslist is frustrating!! What I've been doing is just posting 1 or 2 ads a day on CL and not at the same time. I'll wait a few hours in between posts. When I first started it felt like so many of my ads got ghosted. I just went out and joined several forums and posted responses so that my signature line would become visible and that's a great way to get your name out there. I try to write a blog each day and post that and link it to a few different places, too. I've only been doing this not even a month, so I'm still learning. But the key is to just keep doing it!!
