Default Does content exist anymore????

I've been freelancing for more than 16 years.
I've seen companies go under- and know the signs.
However, I've never seen work virtually nonexistent like it's been during the last couple of years. It seems job boards have become drier and drier since covid started. Two long-reputable content companies, for example, were nearly always chock-full of jobs, but more often than not these days the job boards are completely empty.

I'm worried and desperate.
Does anyone have info/advice.. or comments on your own experiences?

That's an excellent question. As a fellow freelancer (though I haven't been doing it as long as you have at 7+ years), I've noticed the decrease of content, too.

One client that I've been with since 2015 hasn't had any work for me and other writers in almost two years. (We were furloughed in March 2020, and the last time said client had available work was in May 2021.)

The only thing I can suggest is to look for work on boards like Indeed, Craigslist, and ProBlogger. Hope that helps.
