Thanks for the article. Are you signed up as a worker? I'm trying to sign up, but it looks as if it is a sign up for a requester not a worker. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

ETA - Okay I see after I hit sign up, it states they are in beta. And if I want to join to send an email to the address they have posted on their site. So I did. Now waiting to hear back from them.

Looks like they're not taking workers right now (I've been reduced to Mturk in desperation lately, but with my comp being slow and all I can't manage more than $5/hr, so this seemed like it might be a good desperation option).

Nope, they aren't hiring right now. They said they don't want to over hire so that they have enough work to go around for the workers they currently have. They let me fill out a form online and placed me on their waiting list. I was told that they would contact me as soon as they got more work in that would accommodate more workers.

What is the selection criteria for mTurk? One of my friend has applied 2 times from USA but her application was rejected.
