Default Any editors who can help a beginner with my Upwork profile?

Hi all:-). Newly transitioned as a WAHM,
I've been doing tons of research as to what new career I can do from home (my old career doesn't have a place in the WAHM world unfortunately).

Anyway, I think my niche could be editing! I have a love of language, grammar, spelling, punctuation, I was a very good writer in college, and I naturally edit every single thing I read. But I don't have the background, and want to get experience, so I've learned about Upwork from these fine forums.

So, as a beginner, how should I word my profile? I don't want it to sound desperate but do want to make it clear I'm just starting out. I am willing to work very cheap for now to gain the experience, but I don't want to sound pathetic or lacking confidence either!

I have a M.S. and B.S., but not in a related field.

Oh, and, yes, I'm seeking out courses in the meantime-- I know I have a lot to learn:-)

Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks!
