Default GreatContent

Does anyone here write for Great Content? I applied to their site but was denied- reason: We only accept native UK English speakers for this site. They gave me a link to apply at the US English site.

It's odd because I thought I was applying as a US writer. Before submitting my article, I tried writing my content with UK spellings and their platform marked them as a spelling error- so I changed them back to US format, thinking that's what they wanted.

I'm confused now and don't know if I should submit new samples for the US site or reapply with the same article. Any suggestions?

If you write for their UK site, then you have to use UK spellings. Try applying for their US site . It should be fine to use the same samples.

I wasn't aware they had two different sites, but it is strange that when I tried using UK spellings they were highlighted in red. That's what made me think they wanted US English. Oh well, I'll give it another try. Thanks

No problem! And they have a lot of different sites for speakers of various languages .

The FAQs over there definitely say UK English unless a client requests otherwise. I went through everything over there and could not find a US based site, but there were other languages available to look at. The home page does say they have US writers though.
