Cool Blogmutt-Anyone worked for them?

Hi...I was with Blogmutt for a quick moment and then my account was suspended without explanation. The money owed to me was paid, but I'm a bit baffled. Has anyone written for Blogmutt?

I have an account with them but it's been awhile since I've used it. They were never less than professional when I was writing there.

I do recall receiving something from them perhaps several weeks ago that said that they'd axe the accounts of anyone trying to repurpose their YCN content through their platform. Other than that, I can't think of why they'd suddenly disable an account.

Uhm...interesting. Maybe it's because when I was going back and forth via email with them I stated "I will try your site out and see if it is a fit for me." Maybe they wanted to get there first...LOL It's not a big deal I was just wondering if anyone else had experience with them. And I never tried to repurpose any content through their platform either. It would be ridiculous. I asked them why my account was suspended several times and they never answered...LOL

How strange that they won't answer you -- doesn't sound much like them at all. Anyway, I don't think this is indicative of how they generally treat writers.

I've been writing for them for a couple years now and love them. No problems. The only thing I think that they would disable an account would be if they spotted any duplicate content or plagiarism. (Not that I'm saying you plagiarized). You could always email Scott and ask? He is quite friendly and responds to all his emails.

I've been signed up with them for months, but I haven't written any posts. I was surprised by the low pay and how the business has to select your article for you to make any money.

Like others, I have an account there but only wrote once when the site first launched. During slow periods, I would consider writing for them, but those have been few and far between lately. Sorry your account was suspended -- seems odd!

It's not that they have to select your article. It works the same as most writing places. You write the article based off of the chosen keyword, the client reviews your article and either approves it or rejects it. Every article you write is looked at. It's not like those places where you write the articles and they sit there forever until someone decides to come along and buy one.

In my experience, I rarely get rejections (not to say I haven't gotten any). Any articles that do happen to get rejected, you can use them for another client with a similar keyword. The pay is $8 per article and they pay weekly. They claim to have a 90% approval rate and 10% rejection rate and I can definitely stand behind this statement. You can really make decent money with them once you get going. Just my 2 cents. :-)

Thanks so much for taking the time to explain a little more about how it works. I will definitely keep Blogmutt in mind if I need to find extra work in the future.

It took me a while to realize I had to actually ask for the money...you create an 'invoice' by clicking a button, sort of like 'Pay me now!', and I think they only pay out once a week.

It always takes me ages to find something I feel I can write fairly quickly on there...but if you can do 2 or more posts per hour, the money would be pretty good.

Generally speaking, they're a pretty decent place to work, especially if you find a few clients you really click with and can churn out the posts.
