Question Proof Reader Positions?

Hello Everyone,

I am new to the Free Lancing side of this forum. I got started 1 1/2 years ago as a travel agent. At the time, I worked retail F/T (Office Associate) and did the travel business at night and on the weekends. Earlier this year my retail job got rid of my position so I have been doing travel more. But I have really gotten a niche for proofreading and editing. I wondered if there are any places that someone here would suggest that is hiring. I write my own blog (for travel) and I have written for my local newspaper, but I really enjoy reading someone else work and tweaking it here and there to make it perfect. Does this type of freelance job exist? I am still doing the travel thing but I can't MAKE people go on vacations. Any info would be helpful and great. Thanks!!

I see editing positions all the time on the major job boards. Try the WAHM job board, ProBlogger and Journalism Jobs. You might also try ODesk, although I don't ever have much luck there. Demand Media is always looking for editors. It's not a full-time gig, but it's hard to find one of those freelancing. Good luck!
