Problems Logging Into wiseGEEK

Is it just me?

My password is stored, yet each time I try to log in I'm told that it's incorrect. Even when I manually enter the password, same thing. When I opt to have it emailed to me, I get an error page after entering my username and email addy.

Anyone else?

That has been happening to me randomly the last few days. I have no idea why.

What finally works for me is either closing then reopening the browser or typing the password in.

I just checked and had the same problem at first using the log in area in the middle of the screen. Then I clicked on the "Log In" button in the upper right corner and entered my info there - it brought me back to the center log in and it worked this time. Strange!!

I was just coming here to post this same question!

Closing and reopening the tab worked. Phew! I thought I got fired without notice or something.

Okay, I can log in when doing this, but it won't let me lock anything. It won't let me unlock either - it just takes me back to the log in screen. I can't turn any articles in either.

Are all wG writers having this problem? Has anyone contacted them about it?

I have not had this happen, and I did submit and claim an article.

Yep, this is happening across the board. I started having problems about an hour ago and tried clearing my cache, etc. I alerted Catherine and they are trying to find out what is going on.

I did manage to finally get in long enough to copy and paste the titles and keywords for the articles I want to do this afternoon into Word documents, so I can still finish up for the day while they get things squared away.

Oh, one more thing - it may help if you email Catherine and tell her exactly what you are experiencing. The added info may help them isolate where in their network the problem is originating.

Did you all end up getting into your dashboards? I wrote and submitted an article late this afternoon without any trouble, and was curious if the rest of you had any luck!
