Default Break is alive!

I was getting pretty irritated by the lack of response from Break when I emailed them and then submitted a help desk ticket asking what is up with the editing process. I know, it's just one article at $8, but I want my $8 And I'd like to be able to write the other articles I've claimed, as long as I know Break is up and running. Now that I know what's going on, I can totally work with a delay-

Just now I received a response from Lyndsey:

>Per upper management, the editing turnaround is purposefully delayed as we are FLOODED with sub par articles that are extremely poorly written. You and the rest of the pool of writers will be receiving a mass email this week regarding this. We are currently doing a massive overhaul and will be removing writers who do not meet our standards. As far as your article is concerned, it will be edited as soon as we can get to it.

Your patience is appreciated.

They do this all of the time. Then they get rid of anyone that they simply don't want to deal with. Trust me, I was one of those writers. I write articles that are worth a lot more than $8 and get compliments on them, yet Break got rid of me on one of their last sweeps. I'd be careful with them and don't get too dependent on them.

I stopped working for them after an editor refused to accept an article and kept sending it back. It was written in the proper style, it answered the topic properly, and when I emailed about it well, the decision was the editor's. I never did figure out what it was they were so upset about. They kept saying I didn't follow the style and I didn't follow this or that, look at this article. I go look, and yep, mine fits right in.

Sold it somewhere else. For more than $8. It just isn't worth it for me there. They got super picky suddenly, didn't communicate well, and then no titles to be found...so I just forgot about them. Course that was quite a while ago (few months) so I don't know if things have changed. I can still log in but I don't do anything there.

I wonder what constitutes a flood. It seems as if every time I check the list of available titles they are somewhere between slim and none.

In any event, I haven't found anything to write there in a long time. If they want to sweep me out the door, that's okay by me.
