Default Copify?

I saw Copify on someone's to-do list, so I checked it out and applied. Does anyone have any experience with this company? Is there plenty of work available? It looks like there are only a few jobs listed, but maybe I can't see them all yet...?

Thanks for sharing anything you know

Do you know if it is only for the UK?

I'm not sure. I saw something indicating it might be just for UK writers, but then I was able to go to a US version of the site. Maybe that's for US clients? We'll see after they look at my resume, I s'pose.

Default Copify Info

Hi All,

I guess it was on my to-do list that you saw Copify, there doesn't seem to be anyone else here who writes for them.

Work is a bit thin on the ground with them right now, you need to be quick to claim jobs with them. I've been signed up with them for a month and have only managed to claim five jobs, though there have been times when I have chosen not to take a job.

In the UK, rate of pay for a 'professional' writer is 4p per word, so £20 for a 500 word article. I think it is 7 cents per word on the US site.

I think it's worth sticking with this guys until work picks up, it could be a nice little earner when there's a lot of work listed. Also, they have a referral programme, so if anyone has a popular blog and can get people to list their copy jobs on there, you'll earn a percentage of each job they post as well as getting more jobs up there for the rest of us!

Hope this helps,

Natalie

I've signed up for them in January and then I've sent my resume and links to my work as required. However, I haven't received any answer. On the other hand, I get emails from them (announcing new jobs) every single day. I guess they have plenty of work.

Thanks for sharing, Natalie. The pay rate seems really good, so I think it would be a good egg to have even for an occasional job. I guess that's for a professional rating, though. Did you get the pro rating? When did you apply and how quickly did you get a response?

Thanks!
