I've wondered that about the editors, too. I have noticed that some of them are also content writers (I've found them on the content writer page listing everyone), but others seem to be JUST editors. Sometimes, I've Googled a few of them and found they have web sites. One that I don't like (apparently not a content writer) seems to be a published writer (don't know if we're talking self-published or not). This particular person acts as if he or she can do no wrong (snarky comments in the evaluation). I cringe if I see that this person has checked out one of my articles to edit.

None of the CEs or GEs I've dealt with there have been snarky, but I had an SE who was a little. After her last semi-snarky remark in my writer's block, I was assigned a new SE,so I don't know if that was coincidence or not. Sh was very good about responding quickly to comments, though, and my new SE isn't, and doesn't respond to some at all.

My SE and GE both seem to be nice...I've had the same ones since I started. Of the various content editors I've dealt with, probably 95% are OK, but that other 5% are ultra-picky and seem to score based on stylistic preferences, and that one I referred to was both picky AND kind of snarky. It seems like I go through phases where these "5% editors" check out several of my completed articles at one time causing my overall score to act like a roller coaster!
Your SE might have left. I have noticed that some of the names on the writer pool turn red and every couple of months about 20-25 writers leave.

We're usually paid by the 7th and 21st. Has anyone not received their payment yet? They pay consistently so maybe they are having technical issues again.

I just was hoping it was more like DS, where we get paid per article.

I received mine around that time too. I was thrown off because they usually post the payments on the 5th or 6th....but then I'd still have to wait 2 days for the money to transfer to my bank account, which is also a pain.

Has anyone received their tax form? They were to be mailed on Jan 31st. Remilon is the only thing holding me up from filing.
