Default Paid to Tweet

Do any of you get paid to tweet? A client would like me to give her tweets in batches. The one liners (sentences, facts and quotes) would be from her website - I don't have to create content. I don't know how much I should charge for this. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Just saw something about this on Good Morning America... pay depended on how many followers you had

I'm pretty sure that marleymauve has done that for clients. You should send her a PM - she's very helpful.

I heard that on the news today, too. Some celebs are getting big bucks for their tweets. But it doesn't sound like it has a lot to do with followers. Do let us know what you find out.

I think the OP is talking about tweeting from the client twitter account but if you're interested in tweeting from your own account for pay.

Here's the link to apply:
Retweeted FAQ - Pay Per Retweet

This is the original thread about it here:

And no, I haven't tried it.

I don't know about charging for tweets for a client- I'm sure you can automate that process and just enter them in all at once. I signed up for Sponsored tweets, though, (link above, yes I get a referral bonus)

They send me a DM to let me know I have an opportunity, I can choose to take it or not (I've rejected some- I don't want to push baby formula for $1) and they paid on time.

Here's the link in case you missed it http://bit.ly/4Cy97c

I have also written tweets for a client. I charged by the hour, $25.
I wrote all the content myself. It ended up being about 300 tweets.

If you enter your Twitter account information into some of the companies that allow you to sign up to get paid for tweets, they'll tell you approximately what your tweets are "worth" based on your Twitter account (ie. how many followers you have).
