Default What Is Stopping You From Blogging?

If you are new to this and want to start your own blog what is the number one reason that is stopping you?

If you have been blogging for a while, what was the hardest thing starting out?

For the longest time, the one thing stopping me from actually starting to add content to my site was the fear of failure. I still have the same fear these days but at least I'm working towards my goals.

My biggest challenge at the moment is to get traffic.

When I first started blogging, what was hard for me was building up traffic and hoping people enjoyed what I blogged about.

I have been blogging for over 4 years part time as my career job I still enjoy doing but my blog is just my hobby and I earn money from it as well.

Before I started my blog over 4 years ago, what was stopping me was the investment.

If you serious about blogging you should invest in the following:

Domain
shared web hosting (I'm with websynthesis.com which is $27 a month but I can afford it)
premium template or custom theme (free themes tend to be coded poorly which could result in your blog getting hacked, invest money in a premium theme or custom design)

These things are great to have shared web hosting and premium theme, but it is not a must to get started.

I have done this for years and are still with Hostgator works great for my sites, never had a problem.

Yes traffic can be a tricky one. It takes time to build traffic...

We have some other good threads going on traffic so if you are new look for those.

Thanks for sharing,
