Update: I'm connected, my husband figured it out.

I would love to know too...that would be cool.

hey, well he didn't quite figure it out 100% like we thought. I realized I show up in the Reader because I'm following my blog, that is some progress though. But I still won't show up for other people when they click on a tag I have used.
So I still haven't had time to ask on Wordpress myself, but I did find this suggestion from their support forums: WordPress › Support » Posts not showing up in reader we're going to try and do what poster #3 did and see if that works. |

Okay, I am no techie. Ignore everything I posted above. I let my husband read where I got that code from and he said I'm talking about 2 completely different things. That's an RSS feed code above, and has nothing to do with connecting to WP.com. At this time I don't think it's possible to connect the 2 but I read they are working on it.

I hope they figure out how hosted blogs can get
traffic from the community as well. I have a .com blog too that is already in the search engines and comes up on page 1 for my keywords. But my hosted blog, (the one in my siggy), doesn't show up anywhere except where I've advertised it. Right now, i'm sort of maintaining both with the same content, until my hosted blog gets noticed by the SE's. |

Adrianne,
I agree. I read some developer say they are working on it. That post was made about a year ago. I do believe the process has begun with Jetpack because my .org says I'm connected to .com. I would like to be able to maintain both blogs and let the .com drive traffic to the .org but it's so difficult. |

As well, I'm learning my way around wordpress (.com); lots to explore!
