Contact the provider and see if you can get the last archived version of you blog then get yourself a URL and a nice affordable hosting package and set up your own.
If you get a package with Cpanel, you can create your own Blog using Wordpress or any of about 4 other blog platforms. It is quick and easy. PM me if you have any questions on how to go about it. Cheers, Sparky |

If it was a WP.com blog and you tried to monetize it, thats why it was deleted.

Once again all the more reason to just host your own blog and use the Wordpress platform to publish it.

Sorry to hear your blog was deleted. As others mentioned here, WordPress will delete your blog if you have monetized it. However, that is only pertaining to a blog hosted for free by them. They will not allow any links going out to affiliate programs, banner ads etc.
Be sure to read the tos of any free blogging platform you wish to use in order to determine if they will permit commercial use of their platform. Blogger does, but WordPress.com does not. http://wordpress.com/ That is their free platform, which does not allow commercial use! It's fine for a personal journal, and that's about all. http://wordpress.org/ Is their platform where you have your blog on your own domain, and you can monetize it all you want. |

Thank you everyone for your help. I'm new to the blogging world & wordpress & didn't even think about reading their terms of service.
I admit that I made an honest mistake and had a couple of my affiliate links on there but had no idea that wordpress did not allow them. here is my website address: http://vphealthandfitness.wordpress.com It says that my account has been suspended or archived. Do you all think I can still get some of my information back from them or has it been deleted permanently? |

Hi veperez,
Again, sorry to hear what happened. You did the correct first step by contacting their support department, but as you mentioned they might not get back with you. The only other way you could potentially retrieve some of your blog posts would be to do a Google search for some of the titles and or sentences that you had posted, that are unique to your blog. Whatever was already cached by Google will still be online, but only until the Google bot crawls and determines that the pages land on a dead url. If WordPress does not allow you to re-access your blog, recovering data from the Google cache is the only thing you can do that I know of. HTH! Tammara |

Thanks for your help Tammara.... yes, i've been getting the cache links and have been able to find a couple of links, but it's about 6 months of daily information that I have and I only have so much time, ya know...
Until I hear back from them (if I ever do) I will keep on trying to find links and back them up on my computer until I can get my own website up. Will keep you all updated. thanks ~ Vilma |

Hi Vilma,
When you do find the cached pages be sure to "copy and paste" from the blog posts into a Notepad document on your computer. That way you'll have them ready to paste into a new blogging platform editor. Don't use Word because that program will add some codes that you can't see and can goof up a website template once it's online, so only use Notepad. If you've never used Notepad, it's in Programs > Accessories > Notepad - assuming you have Windows. That's the best way to manually back up your blog posts. |

I guess persistence does payoff.
After a CRAZY weekend... I was contacted by wordpress support & my blog is back up and running. They didn't provide any specifics on why my blog was suspended, but i'm going to go back and remove all obvious affiliate links & pictures for now. Now... another dilema... which blog should I keep up???? I didn't update here but through the craziness & chaos of this weekend, I managed to start up a new blog on blogger... http://vphealthandfitness.blogspot.com/ AHHHh!!! I've contacted most people that linked to my site and have told them of my new blogger site. I really like the blogger one because there is html & I can put my affiliate links & pictures on it. Maybe keep both???? Ideas? Contact everyone again??? Thanks! ~ VilmaEdited by: veperez |
