Default I'm not a distributor or anything, but...

Just met with a friend who is a consultant, and I ordered a couple of products. I need to lose some weight for Derby, so I'm hoping these will give a good boost to my exercise routine and help me to stick on a diet.

She also talked to me about becoming a distributor, which might be a possibility, since I've been unable to find a job :/ But I'm not really a super bubbly, salesperson-y type of person...so idk if it would be a good fit, or not? I'm waiting to see how these products work and how I like them, but what are y'all's experiences with being a distributor? TIA!

You will always get different answers, depending on the specific person and their experience which is based on their work ethic and what they put into it. I personally love It Works! We started out at customers using the products and loved them! I found that I was sharing with others and telling them what we were doing and using and they wanted to try it.. it's really that easy! There are different ways to earn with It Works.. .some prefer parties and can grow their customers/teams quickly, some prefer online (online does require consistent work as well and can tend to grow a little slower than in person), some prefer to share with salons, gyms, nail techs, hairstylists, bridal boutiques, etc... because they can sell the products retail to their clients and it can bring them an additional income stream...

I did extensive research before joining to be sure of the timing for joining, the company, products, etc. The company is in momentum and experiencing huge growth, the products are top notch, the leaders are amazing and I love the closeness of the entire it works family. We have facebook groups for support, additional tools, training...

The comp plan is very fair and helps new people begin earning quickly while allowing leaders to be compensated for their efforts as well.

It really comes down to you and what you can see yourself doing. Good luck in your choice!

Thumbs up

Good for you, Maeve. Excellent outlook for your personal goal by adding this to your regimen and it probably will give you that nudge to make it part of your consistent plan. New results do add extra encouragement.

As for Super Bubbly... that can sell a product once or twice. Excitement and belief are your best allies in getting others interested in what you do. I believe that once you experience the products you will find that working for you as well.

Congrats for exploring the opportunity as well as the product. Best wishes for success in all you do.

Maeve,

Hello, when it comes down to becoming a Independent distributor it really doesn't take for you to have any sales experience or even be that real bubbly person. I found out with It Works the product pretty much sale itself. You just have to be knowledgeable in the product or be able to find the answer.

I just join the company but just by me talking about it and showing some of the results from people using the body wraps. I got people waiting for me to have my launch party.
