Default Your dad stays home?

I've been struggling with an identity issue for quite a while now. People see me as casually unwinding at home when that isn't the case. They're putting me down because all they see is my wife doing "the dirty work." A man can only take so much. I never considered myself to be depressed until recently and I'm not taking it well.

Can you tell those people that you work from your home so you can spend more time with your children?

Depression usually takes about 2 weeks. However, if what you're feeling gets even worse should be getting some advice from a depression specialist. For now, I suggest you start talking about how you feel with your family. If it's hard for you to talk to them then at least open up with your friends and other people you trust. Don't make it too hard for yourself.

I am actually struggling to connect with my partner since we rarely have time to talk about our problems. If we do talk, we end up fighting. I should really consider seeking advice to a depression specialist. I heard that online psychotherapy can help me with my current situation. Better get help sooner than later.
