Default CSS input?

Hi all:

I have built a number of CSS-formatted sites, but have trouble going through someone else's CSS to figure out how to change/fix what they did.

I have a home business forum that left all the links the same color as the surrounding text. It did change color and underline on hover, but I wanted to make the links more obvious. To do that I changed the regular links to red, but the result has me baffled.

If you look at the home page, you'll see that some of the links are red, and some are black. There are so many different link attributes that it's hard for me to tell exactly what's going on.

If you look at this post about choosing a domain, you'll see that in the lines that list some different URLs, SOME of the links are red and some black--in the same line.

If any of you can get my head wrapped around this, I'd appreciate it.

Alison

Hey, Alison. The links that are showing up as black are links that have been visited by the viewer. You will need to change the a:visited value in the css if you want to use a different color for visited links.

HTH!

OK, this is kind of ticking me off, since I swear I thought I tested that!!! Sheesh!

I guess when I set up a new folder, I thought it would mark that as read, but apparently not so.

Sigh.

Bless your heart for making me less crazy tonight! Thanks so much.
