Paperfree corporation website

Hello all, I just came across the "Paperfree Corporation" website. I think this is the company that took over "KeyForCash" after "Lionbridge SmartCrowd" transferred ownership. They also pay the workers each month by direct deposit. One of the articles talks about the "remote data entry service" which I thought was interesting. The article mentions "24/7 access to over 10,000 remote data entry specialists that are located throughout the United States." I wonder if they are just referring to the independent contractors that work for "Key For Cash" or are there other "remote data entry" companies that are included in this figure as well? This is just something to think about and I wonder if there is any truth to that? I just thought I would share this website with everyone in case you are interested in reading more about the Paperfree Corporation. If there are 10k data entry specialists then there must be other operation centers under the paperfree corporate umbrella aside from us here at KFC. Just do the math. Here's an example, back on June 3rd, a Friday, IT Guy posted that we would have about 4 million snippets available by the end of the day and that should keep us busy all weekend. Which it did! Now if we had 10,000 keyers all actively keying, 4,000,000 / 10,000 = only 400 snippets per keyer. That wouldn't last 2 hours much less all weekend. Just sayin'

You've brought up a really good point, "Teybear!" There may be other data entry companies included in that number, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was true. It's really hard to say how many "active data entry keyers" there are on any given day on the site for "Key For Cash." Some of the "data entry keyers" may still be members but aren't active on the site. Those data entry keyers probably haven't worked the site for many years but they are still included in that number because their accounts remain open. Maybe some of the data entry keyers quit, but didn't have their accounts closed, so those people that didn't bother to close their accounts may be included in that number as well. I am just guessing, it may or may not be true. The article from Paper Free Corporation may be based on older data that "Key For Cash" had in their records at the time the article was written. It is really hard to say for sure. Overall, it's still a good side gig to have for extra cash and I enjoy it very much! Tax season has always been busy most years since I have worked for them and for me, that makes this "extra cash gig" worth my time and effort. I enjoy typing very much! I have been an independent contractor for "Key For Cash" since 2013, so that's nine years of keying snippets! As I am writing this today, I see work has just arrived on the site, so I better start typing! Happy Thursday to everyone and I hope you all have an enjoyable day of "keying snippets!"

I totally agree about this being a great gig. I finally got contracted on with KFC earlier this year after waiting for about as long as you've been keying. I really enjoy the work and the extra cash sure helps out. Hopefully I look forward to putting in many happy years to come with KFC and all of my fellow snippeteers, lol.

You all are definitely skilled data entry specialists. A number of you have over a decade of experience, and you're all detailed oriented with high accuracy rates while also keying very fast.



I just hope we can get you all some more work soon... I know this has been a very slow stretch, especially compared to the steady flow of work we had the first half of the year. Thanks for hanging in there.

It is nice to put a title to what we do! I have filled out job applications and I always include KeyForCash because I've been doing it for so many many years. I just gave the title "data entry" but I like "data entry specialist" much better!
