Question Has anyone worked for Literably??

I saw a posting on indeed.com for a transcribing company called Literably. It looks legit and says it has a built in training program. Does anyone have any experience with them? TIA

Default Literably

I did a google search and this is what I came up with:

Job Description:

Listen to a recording of a student reading and transcribe the student’s errors.

Make over $10 per hour
Work from anywhere
Make your own schedule
No experience necessary
Help kids
No transcription experience necessary. We have built a “training mode” that will both teach you how to transcribe and will evaluate your performance. We will hire the applicants who perform well in training.

Job Qualifications:
Fluent English speaker.

Wage:
Over $10 per hour
Scheduling:
Make your own
Special Application Instructions:
We're accepting applicants now, and will take the first qualified people, so get in touch! NOTE: Please don't feel the need to submit a polished cover letter / resume. We'll evaluate you on the basis of your performance on a sample task.

Sounds like a decent way to get started if you haven't worked in the field before. I wonder how much more than $10 an hour the pay is. Too low for me to consider it, unfortunately.

I don't know anything about working for this company, except it sounds interesting. Rat Race Rebellion posted this in their screened job leads. Since RRR does check jobs to be sure they are not scams, it may be worth applying to this one.

Yep, I took the test as well today, and made quite a few mistakes. I definitely didn't meet their recommended limits!

I just got an e-mail yesterday saying that I was a finalist. They want to set up a time to call me and ask me a few questions. Has anyone else heard back?

I just turned in my six transcriptions and made a lot of mistakes as well. Not a ton, but still. So hopefully I make it to the finals as well? Anyone else hear back after they submitted the transcriptions?
