Hi:

Anybody know of any companies hiring? I need to get a job ASAP. At the very least I need to earn $150 by the end of the month. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you looking for a particular type of job or..?

I mean if you can spend 10 hours a day working and are willing to do anything i'm pretty sure you could reach that amount...

Sorry, I'm looking for a transcription job, general, entertainment, non-medical. Are any hiring right now especially ones that don't take too long to get going in.

Hmmm sorry, can't help you

Up until a month ago you could have started with TranscribeMe straight away, but now the hiring has stopped, i mean now there is a waiting list...

Also Scribie where i just applied yesterday, but the waiting period is 250+ Days to start right now, so forget about that...

I wouldn't recommend Scribie. They only pay ... hold your breath ... $10 per audio hour. If it takes you 4 hours to transcribe 1 hour of audio that's $2.50 per hour ... third world country wages, if that.

Rev.com is apparently hiring. They don't pay very well ($30 per audio hour if I have heard correctly). Apparently, they have a steady stream of work though, so I think this would be a good place to "get your feet wet" and gain some experience.

I have applied at Rev.com, including taking their transcription test, on Friday. Still waiting to hear back from them. On their website they say it takes about a week to process your application and transcription test.

Maybe try mturk.com? Pay for transcription jobs isn't great but pay is, I believe, once a week. You could also take surveys or do other tasks.

I hear LAI is hiring. I don't know anything about their pay rate other than the fact that it's on time.

I know Scribie doesn't pay well. Although if one can complete 3 Hours per month then it's $30 + a $10 Bonus that they give for doing over 3 Hours of transcription a month. That's 1 file per day and that's what i plan to do. One - SixMinute File per day = 3 Hours per month = $40

And also if one becomes a reviewer, one can transcribe a file and review it straight away themselves and so doubling their pay. If i manage to get there it would mean $70 or $80 per month for doing one six minutes transcription per day. And we good

If you said you took their transcription test is this all done online? Do you need certain software Orr than MSword? Is this on medical transcription?
