Cool How fast can you transcribe 4 minutes of audio?

I am curious to hear how fast can most of your transcribe 4 minutes of audio. I can usually complete 4 minutes in 25 minutes, after proofreading. How about you guys and gals?

Depends on the subject and clarity. General transcription and clear audio, 4 minutes will take 10 minutes or less to transcribe.

Personally, I think that if you type and then actually proof to audio 4 minutes should take 15-20 minutes to complete. This is dependent on many factors including how much you have to research, the clarity, the content, how comfortable you are with the template, and so much more.

My advice? Don't worry about how long it takes you so much as getting it right!

I agree with the 15 to 20 minutes to transcribe and proof to audio, for me.

If it's clear audio, I can usually transcribe on a 3-to-1 ratio. So 12 minutes for 4 minutes of audio, including proofreading. Bad audio is another thing entirely.
