I love WAHM. I was wondering what happened to workathomearena? I used to get into that website. Now, you can't.

Also the facebook page seems to have been blocked to all but whomever the folks operating it allow or blocked altogether from everyone.

The website (non-fb) doesn't come up @ all. (wondering if, at some point, it was decided to go fb completely & not bother with the website).

Has anyone got any new info on WPLH arena? That forum was my "go to" for years! Between this one and them I always felt they were the best resources. I still keep checking to see if they came back every few days....

Work at Home Arena was started by someone I know after WPLH shut down. WPLH shut down because of the rising costs of hosting and keeping up with the forums. It was such a huge database. I know there were offers for others to take over, and then I believe the database became corrupt or something and the owner was trying to save it but she was also battling a lot of health problems at the time.

Anyway, the Arena shut down because again, the costs associated with it and a lot of people weren't using forums anymore. Much the reason why this one isn't as active. I was an admin at the Arena since it started and as time went on scam/spam got harder to deal with so that might be an issue as well. A lof of people use FB groups these days.

The owner of the Arena does have a FB group. It's not on pause right now, but it's still there : https://www.facebook.com/groups/TheRealWPLH/

It's been a while since I been here. I thought about this forum and came back to see how it was. I was shocked to see how slow it is. I agree that Facebook Groups are becoming more popular nowadays. The only thing I don't like about groups is that it's harder to search and organize. Forums like this are much easier to use when it comes to sharing job information and opportunities.
