Default Door Dasher

Anyone here work for Door Dasher? I am new and have not picked up any hours yet. There is NO training that comes with the job. I have watched a few "You Tube" video's where different worker's are telling their experiences with the company, and how to work the job. However, I would like too see things like how to you pay for the food you pick up. I know you pay with the card, but do you swipe it like a regular credit card etc... Also, do you tell the restaurant that you are working for Door Dash?

I would greatly appreciate any advice or tips anyone can offer me. I am afraid to schedule first shift without any training.

I work for DoorDasher and love it! I don't make much money though, I live in a smaller community, but a large city would probably provide more income. But being a dasher meets my goals of making some extra pocket money.
Most of my clients have prepaid for their food, but some have not. The red card is simple to use and there is no PIN or no need to sign. You simple swipe the card. It's really easy.
I do walk in to the restaurant and have my bag with me and I tell them that I'm there to pick up a Door Dash deliver for BLANK (customer name) . The restaurants have trained their employees and there is never a problem.

So with DoorDasher, you're picking up restaurant orders to go and delivering those to their customers... Sounds like a job one would need to do on a full tummy, otherwise those meals might be tempting as the aroma takes over your car - lol.

It's DoorDash not DoorDasher.

I worked for them from home. Until they canned all of the American workers who placed the orders.
