Default Bookkeeping Question

For those doing bookkeeping from home, which would serve me better for a certification?

1) A bookkeeping certification with the option of becoming certified with National Bookkeepers Association

2) A computer bookkeeping certification in Sage 50

3) Both as a combined certification

Thank you for any feedback. I do have experience in bookkeeping but it has been years and I need to refresh myself on a lot.

To be honest, most prospects don't really care if you are certified with an organization. None have ever asked me.

They want to know what you can do for them. It's all about them really.

As far as software QuickBooks has most of the market share, and I have gotten more leads from them since I became QBO Advanced certified. Xero would be my second choice for certification.

If you are seeking a program to help you become a virtual bookkeeper and gain all the technical software knowledge and how to promote yourself online, I highly recommend Bookkeeper Business Launch, and the link to it is in my signature line. Just click on Next Step and enter your email for info.

I have a sale link listed in Advertise Your Business board here (title Can't Find a Jov? Create one!) that has a sale to start that ends tonight and has all the features and benefits of the program. That's how I got started and do this full-time from home.

Of course, if you have any questions, I'm here as well.
