Transcom is hiring for an inbound split shift position. From the description I saw it looks like tech support but it's just vague enough that it could be something else. Anybody know how much they pay? The ad I saw didn't show the pay rate, and neither does the application link:

Here is some more information on this job:
From your home office, you will be expected to build rapport with frustrated customers, route calls to appropriate departments, and resolve complaints about products and services. You will also be expected to sell services and product protection plans. You must be detail-oriented, high-energy, and flexible to succeed in this role. You will receive non-stop calls from frustrated customers. You will be expected to be well-informed about process changes in order to help clients on multiple issues. Additionally, you may be expected to perform any of the following duties: • Responding to billing and service coverage inquiries • Persuading current and potential customers to purchase additional services or upgrades • Troubleshooting basic technical issues • Scheduling additional technician support for the customer • Be comfortable working with an aging customer population • Hourly wages start at $9.50 an hour • Monthly bonuses possible based on performance (up to $0.80 per productive hour) |
