Default West at Home Questions

I am thinking of accepting an offer of employment with West at Home, but before I pay for the background check, I was wondering if anyone here has had experience with them that they could share so I know what to expect. thank you.

West At Home is a great company to work with! I just got offered a position, and I am waiting to pay for the background check. You are an employee, the hours are flexible, and they have many different lines! Paying for a background check is a common thing working from home, so don't freak out about it.

I have worked for them in the past. They pay minimum wage in the state that you reside in and is based on the number of minutes you are actively on the telephone with the consumer. The company you work for will depend on the answers to your evaluation questions. They will decide based on your skill set the company you will service.

Jennifer and Bex...I sent you both PM's.

I agree with the previous posters...West is a great company with flexibility and lots of different lines to work on. Don't sweat it about the background fee. I think they require that of all new employees now, as it was getting expensive to pay for them and then have people not even want or take the positions. I think this is fair and I totally understand it from a business perspective.

There is a lot more info on WEST on other WAH forums.

Paying for a background check is very common. They get a lot of applicants and want to weed out the ones with poor credit. It costs them money to pull a credit report and with so many applicants they pass this on to potential employees instead of covering it themselves.

West At Home has been around for some time so you can do a search on these forums to get some reviews also.

WEST does not pull your credit report!!! They only conduct a background check.
