I don't have a definite schedule. I work around my kids' schedule and most of the time i just squeeze my work when they are napping or out in the school. I just make sure though that I was able to work 5-8hrs daily.

I have a set schedule but that's because my job has a set schedule.

For me, it's just like any other job except I can do it in my pj's in my house.

I don't have a set schedule. It would probably help you stay on task if you choose to go that route though. I just figure I will work once I have taken care of the chores and after the children are taken care of. I take a bit of time here and there to work. I like to work early in the morning and at night. It's my alone time. Otherwise, I have one tugging at my shirt and another who has a spiderman vs ironman war going on at my elbow.

So, it's easier for me to just go with the flow.

I know that my job doesn't always have a "do this at this time" flow to it, so every week I set a list of goals that I want to achieve. Then I'm able to come up with a daily plan to help me get there.

One of the hardest things about transitioning to working at home is that you don't have other people to hold you accountable for your work... it's so easy to sneak over to facebook or pinterest and lose an hour! I have a friend that also works from home, and we stay in touch throughout the day and let each other know that we're on task and achieving goals, not just doing busy work.

Soooo really - make a plan that works for you and find someone or something that will help you stick to it! Good luck!

Thank you all so much! I have a job with a set schedule so I think that might make it easier.. I can't wait to get to work and put all of this into practice!

I'll be honest - it is really tough to work when both of my children are home (they are 2 and 4) so I pretty much work evenings and weekends when my husband is around. My plan is to build these eggs and my experience up so that when they do eventually go to school I can actually make some money!

I keep it flexible. That's one of the things I love about working from home. I can change my schedule if needed, without having to consult with someone else.

I am a big list keeper. I have a list up on my desktop all the time, and I'm constantly adding things and marking things off as they get accomplished. I think having the list up keeps me on track and prevents me from dawdling too much on the Internet (which I love to do).
