Unhappy Only Worked outside the home- What to say on Resume???

Been working outside the home for ten years, I am attempting to supplement our income because of some hardships that wiped us out financially.

I have had some luck with content mills, but other than the couple articles I've posted I have no resume to speak of-- It seems kind of tacky to post my resume with all my retail management experience, am I right?

I joined Helium, Odesk, vWorker, and plan on a few others... Is there a way to tactfully construct a resume without any WAH experience?

A lot of work at home positions are customer service related. Do you have any experience working with people?

If so, that may be one good skill to really call attention to in a resume.

Not tacky at all. All it shows is that you worked mostly outside the home, same here. I am still fairly new to working from home as opposed to some here and I have mostly inbound call center technical support experience and management. Like the other poster stated, from what you've stated here, inbound sales or customer support may be a good choice.

I didn't have any WAH experience before I got my current work at home job beyond doing some blogging and working for ChaCha and Textbroker. I did put some of these on my resume to cover the time period I was back in school and didn't have a job.

I honestly think it was my years of customer service work that helped me land my WAH job rather than WAH experience. I'm sure most jobs, WAH and otherwise, want you to have the experience to be able to do the job rather worry about where you did those jobs in the past.
