Default Do the companies usually call you back? Can you make a living from call-center jobs?

I filled out my first few applications this morning, I'm excited but very nervous. I filled the applications out for call center positions that don't require land-lines. Is there a chance I will get hired? How does the application process usually work for these kinds of jobs? Also, do people actually make a living working for a call center? Are there usually lay-offs like regular jobs?

They will call you back or email.. Depending on the company. These are very competitive though... So apply to several different companies. There are a lot of people on here who support themselves working from home. I was a single mom for a few years and supported myself from a call center job I found on this site. You just have to remember ... Even though you are working from home ... It's still a job and you still have to work

I've seen a number of people on this forum who got hired for work at home customer service positions and did pretty well. They won't make you rich, but you can earn a decent income, especially if you work a good number of hours every week.

Good luck MartezJ
