Work at home chat/email

Does anyone know of any companies hiring work at home customer service reps that work through on line chat and email only. I know these jobs exist I just can't seem to find them, for me it would be perfect because even though I have my home office in a separate room, you never know when the dog may bark.

I have been looking for this type of work for a while and I just finished reading a magazine article about a woman who had such a job and found it through this site.

There are very few jobs like that .. And very few openings for the jobs like that .. That are available. If you are looking for jobs that don't require phone work writing is you're best option. There is a writing section in this forum that will point you in the right direction. Also , sites like Mturk and odesk are good places to start for "piece" work and to help you build your resume

You can also check out Arise. They had some openings for
AT&T chat a few months ago. From what I hear, it was pretty
demanding but not impossible. I attempted to work the customer
service phone support for AT&T and it was a flipping nightmare.
They have multiple clients other than AT&T so check it out.

This online email work would be great for me, especially with children who like to interrupt and ask who's on the phone.

I've gotten support via chat and email before for my computer, Internet connection, and printer. So those might be areas worth checking into.
