Where could someone find craft donations?
I have been unemployed since Nov 08 and am struggling like so many folks. I figured that while I look for work, I can make things - but can't afford yarn and fabric. Does anyone know if there is a website for donations and trades for craft things?

or Craig's list under 'free stuff" items. All ck yard sales, not free, but very cheap. Best wishes.

you could also recycle/upcycle things you already own, make things out of natural materials collected outside, check out thrift stores.
If you bring home plastic bags from the store you can turn them into plastic yarn and knit them into reusable bags.
