I just received an e-mail invitation to join Survey Pro, which pays $40 hr and SurveyMonster.net, which supposedly pays $250 an hour to do surveys. It sounds too good to be true to me, but I thought I'd ask you wahms if you've had any experience with these survey sites before I pass them up. What do you think?

Hi,

You don't have to pay anyone to do paid surveys, since it's always free to join legit survey sites, take surveys and get paid. You also don't have to pay any membership site - all you get is a list of survey sites (which you can find free ones.)

I would stay away from this surveypro/surveymonter, since they make it sounds too good to be true - yes you can make money taking surveys, but definately not $250/hour or even $40/hour.. Survey is just a way to make extra money, not a job.

Absolutely. In the world of surveys, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. I checked out both sites and would also caution that sites that promote sites like Panda research are generally ones to be wary of. In all my years of doing surveys, I have never heard of anyone who was actually paid by Panda for doing surveys. For being an affiliate, sure, which is why lots of people are willing to promote them, but not for the surveys themselves.

I have been doing surveys for years and those are not the ones you want to get involved with, too much spamming! I have a list of the ones that I have been paid for, if anyone is a memebr over at CafeMom I also have a group for this as well, send me a message
