This is a great idea Elise!!! Here is mine

1. What really 'grabbed' you? To be honest, back when I joined there was some info on the company, but nothing like there is today! I noticed the jewelry before I even read the company story and the jewelry is definitely what grabbed me! I was never really a jewelry person before I found S&D and I think that was because I had never come across the right style of jewels. I have always loved jewelry from Anthropologie, JCrew, BR etc. So when I found out that I could sell that style & category (luxe) of jewelry I was blown away!!!

2. Did you have visions of jewels dancing through your head? Absolutely!!! I could not get S&D off my mind! I had signed up with another jewelry company about 5 or 6 months before finding S&D and when I came across this folder I was so blown away I just had to make the switch. I was on this folder and on the website constantly!

3. How long did you think before joining? I think it took me about 2 weeks before I made the switch. I was going to try and earn back the initial sign-up fee for the previous company that I had put out, but I was getting NO interest and I knew I would most likely not make it back. I was chomping at the bit to get in with S&D so I just ate the $$ put out from company X and took the plunge

4. What was your response time for receiving more info? Immediately!

5. Where did you 'uncover' Stella & Dot? On this board, I had done TONS of research on different jewelry companies and had not come across S&D once. I am so glad there was a folder on this board!!!

My story is I was looking for a way to start working from home, I was newly married, at the time I was selling wedding dresses, I was on a message board where somebody posted about learning how to make jewelry and wearing the jewelry of the stars and they listed the name of the company. I thought it would compliment my wedding dress business nicely to be able to offer jewelry. I googled it, read all about it, but was leery because I had joined another jewelry company that I did not like at all. Then I decided to send away for information, got hooked up with a local leader, who ended up being related to the Founder of the Company! Still wasn't sure as I didn't know how to make jewelry, so I decided to buy a kit, bought it, put it together and realized how easy it was to make jewelry. Still didn't sign up! But then it was on the Today Show as great holiday gifts and the website got so many hits that it shut the site down. That was when I was convinced! As soon as the website was operating again, I signed up!

It has been quite a journey as the company has found its legs, the jewelry has come a long way. It is phenomenal and that is why I am still here. And this company has a way of just getting to you, once you find it, you can't turn away from it, you get hooked!
