Question signature code

what happened to the code within my signature? the links no longer work and I've tried to reenter several times with the basic code that was valid before - the wording shows up, but the links are coming up invalid when they are good links:

here is what I'm using
TreasureTrooper Putting money in my cookie jar since 2007

even a plain code such as [url=\"http://superiorworkathome.today.com[/url] is not working.

I've even tried the basic ancor code: <a href="URL of the Web page to go to">Text that will be the link</a> which also doesn't work

can someone please help me fix my signature codes.

Hi

If you hover over the link you should see in the bottom of the screen that your link has an extra http:// in front of it, you need to take it out and then it'll work. You need to go to your User CP and go to Edit Options, then scroll to the bottom and make sure you have WYSIWYG editor selected. Then go to edit signature in the User CP and unlink your wording and relink with the correct URL.

Hope that helps

The extra slashes / and \ will need to removed as well.

Thank you both - I didn't even think about checking the user edit options, once WYSIWYG editor was selected, I was good to go, don't even need to bother with code anymore - thanks again.

BB Code is not enabled for your usergroup. In order to access links in your signature, you will need to be registered for 10 days and have 15 posts.

All members can have signatures, but in order to have links in your signature, you will need to be registered for 10 days and have 15 posts. You can do this from the User CP > Signature area.
