When you are writing to Shaklee who are you emailing? I would suggest you email Keith Anderson and his email is: [email protected], OK?


Keith is very quick in getting back with people but keep in mind like Jennifer explained they are so bombarded and busy (which is a great thing and I know you would agree) these days cause of the launches but they will get back with you, alright?


I don't know the ingredients off the top but I have asked for them too and for the life of me I can't figure out where I put them but if I find them I will post. I can tell you the list is very simple and short!

Here is the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) that every company must file in order to market a chemical product [adobe PDF format]:

The materials listed are:

Deionized Water
Pareth 25-7 (Surfactant)
Linear Alcohol Alkoxylate (Surf.)
Dowicil 75 (Antioxidant)
Hydrochloric Acid (pH Adjuster)
Butylated Hydroxytoluene (Antiox.)
D & C Green #5 (Colour)
Methyl Paraben (Colour Preserv.)

The MSDS also lists the first aid information if ingested in large quantities.... it is so safe, a couple of glasses of water or milk would dilute the product and ease any stomach cramps. No poisonous substances....

I had my mouth washed out with this stuff when I was a kid and said bad words LOL.
Tastes HORRIBLE. No way anyone would ingest much LOL. I think the worst it would do was give you an internal cleansing.

Do you have a copy of the H2 MSDS?

This must not be a valid list of Ingredients as Shaklee clearly states on their website found here Shaklee Corporation: Providing a healthier life for everyone and a better life for anyone. Health, Wellness, Nature, Opportunity -

Although I was unable to get a list of ingredients it is stated that the product is a blend sourced from natural ingredients and coconut derived surfactants.

You can find all the products and READ THEIR LABELS by entering "basic h ingredients" in google search and clicking on top entry!!

Basic H has stern warnings,But there was no INGREDIENT LIST on the label of BASIC H I read!!

If the label to their shampoo is any clue, I'd be very cautious!!

I have used BASIC H since the 70s, but now I am not sure I will continue!!
