My sister-in-law has started doing a biz with Stamp-it-up. Just
wondering if anyone has advice for her on how to make money doing
inhome parties. Do you set a fee for a set number of cards that people
will make or how does it work? I am thinking of having some friends
over to help her get started. Would love to have some advice on how to
set it up.

Typically, I would charge $1 per card made to cover the cost of supplies. Depending on how long your party is, it would probably be 4-6 cards. She would have everything pre cut and ready in individual ziplock bags so all they would have to do is stamp and glue together. She could offer incentives like bring a friend get a free stamp (she can buy demonstrator stamp set that have like 20 small stamps in it). She could also do drawings, like spend $20 and get one entry and so on to try to get sales. Also $100 in sales gets a free catalog. Stuff like that.... If you have a strong group of friends, its also fun to start a club.Let's say you at 6 people, you would do it for 6 months. Everyone would spend at least $25 every month and that would give enough sales for each person to have a turn being the hostess and getting the hostess gifts. That would also help her get her quota...plus a lot of fun......

Hope this helps....?

Thanks, these are some great tips. Can't wait to get a date set up to have some friends over.
