Word count vs Work History

Amazing, the first email I've gotten from Quicktate in over 6 months basically tells me that I should be grateful that they're not requesting back the money they overpaid us, wow, it's a BONUS. No mention of the fact that they probably overcharged the customer for the same amount. Sorry for the bitter tone but I wasn't real impressed with the tone of the email.

Yeah, no bonus for us. But I never sent in a request, because I always kept track of my word count through a Word doc, so I was in sync with them. So, I was not overpaid, but paid my correct amount. So, they would not have been requesting that I pay them back at all.


ETA - And furthermore, there were enough of us, myself included that made them aware that there was a discrepancy with the word count on QT & what we were being paid. So, it isn't as if they were not aware of it. They chose not to do anything about it or look into the situation, so they are the ones to blame for anyone being overpaid. So, I don't think it's right that they make people feel as if they did something wrong by requesting payments for discrepancies. They were the ones who created a form for people to submit, so therefore in my honest opinion, it's their fault since they chose not to look into what the issue was that was causing the discrepancy.
