normally the 30th, but since this month that is sunday, we will probably be paid either Thursday the 27th or Friday the 28th like last month.

It's bi-monthly on the 15th and the 30th or 31st. This month we should get it on Monday the 31st if they are working, else on Friday the 28th.

Gladysathome: They are processing payroll for many typists for QT as well as iDictate. We used to get paid on the 10th and the 25th but they changed it earlier this year to the 15th and the 30th. That is just their system that they use. That's why it's good to have multiple eggs, so you have multiple pay periods.

I don't mind them paying me once a month as long as they pay me. Since I am not being paid by paypal, it takes even longer but what the heck, I am just happy they pay. There are so many scums out there and quicktate is one of the genuine ones. Been here for a month and I simply love it. I set targets for myself and won't a wink without meeting them. But my small pay twice a month comes as a big pay at the end of the month.

You don't have to use paypal to get paid through quicktate? I thought that was a requirement??? I would prefer not to use paypal!

They got hired through oDesk, not straight through the website.

In my opinion, paypal is a great way to be paid, I'd rather be paid this way instead of waiting for a check in the mail. They don't want the hassle of direct deposit so paypal is the next logical choice.

You can just defer your pay from paypal into your bank account, it just takes a few days. Or like me, I applied for a paypal debit card, so It works great! I just use my credit card when I need to, and you can set up a bank account for a back up account if you want to incase you don't have enough money to pay for the entire transaction.

I absolutely love the debit card, wouldn't be without it.

So when you get hired thru Odesk, not only do you get paid once a month, you have to give them a percentage of your pay each month.

I love my PayPal debit card too. I don't leave home without it.
