When do we get paid for the 1st to 15th ???

Ok maybe i should clarify why we can't apply straight to the site. We use odesk because kenya does not have paypal. So odesk allows us to choose other types of getting money and also odesk is a freelancer site. so apart from quicktate we get to do other types of jobs. the percentage that they take is 10% which is ok because I am guaranteed to be paid on hourly jobs that I do on the site. As we have so many scum sites offering online jobs, I'll recommend odesk anyday for anyone who wants to do all types of online jobs!

Emery, SadieLady or anyone else that has the paypal debit card, do you have to apply for this card like you would for a regular credit card. Do they do a credit check and all that stuff or do you just fill out an application for one?

Right now I have my money transferred to my bank account which usually takes about 3 days but if I had one of the debit cards I could use my money instantly instead of having to wait.

Well I just applied for the paypal debit card, which you do straight from the paypal website, and I believe it is just an application. Then they send you an email saying they are waiting to see if you are getting approved which can take up to 2 weeks, it doesn't really take that long. I have terrible credit right now, due to having to due bankruptcy last year and stuff, so I doubt it went it off credit.

Hey Peggy, I've had my card for a couple of years now. I also had a bankruptcy like 6 years ago and they still gave it to me. But I also have had my PayPal account for 10 yrs and have it backed up by a bank account. So I think as long as you have an account behind your PayPal, they will give you a debit card. And Emery's right, you apply directly from your PayPal account.

There's no credit check for the Paypal debit card, only the credit card. All you need is to have a verified Paypal account (verified address and bank account) for at least two months and you'll be approved for the debit card.

OK, has anybody that hasn't been paid yet heard anything from Julie. I know when we submit those discrepancy forms to her for a pay discrepancy it usually takes a few days to hear from her, but considering so many people weren't paid at all, I would think she would make it a priority to at least send out an e-mail to everybody saying that they're working on it or SOMETHING just to acknowledge the problem. I sent her an IM yesterday and then filled out a discrepancy form and have heard nothing. I'm starting to get a little aggravated. Sorry just had to vent.

I asked her last night, becuase it looked like some people had gotten paid and some not. She said that she was pretty sure we would be paid last night, but I still haven't gotten anything.

QT always pays, but this is a little late for them. I'm sure we'll get paid today. Let's keep our finger's crossed.
