I Only have ONE cup (well ok, its a 21oz cup) but still, one cup in the morning and Im done.

I had to kick it. My addiction was horrible. I switched to a natural energy drink. Now I enjoy an occasional cup of coffee just because, but not because I NEED it like I did before.

I don't survive without it! I drink it black and strong. Of course, I really take it any way I can get it (LOL). Absolutely love, love coffee.

I think what has happened is that you have become addicted to the caffeine. That is why you get headaches and cravings. Like any other drug...and caffeine is a drug, you need to wean yourself off it gradually and start replacing it with a healthier choice.
Try gradually reducing the # of cups a day or switching to a 50/50 blend of regular and decaf. Try drinking tea. It also has caffeine but less per cup. If it is the energy boost you are in need of, try changing your diet to eat smaller meals more often. Try to avoid high carb meals that will spike your blood sugar and leave you in need a a caffeine fix when you crash. I hope this helped ![]() |

I do a detox about every 3 months, it lasts 7 days and I'm supposed to cut out caffeine. For the first 2 days I'm good but then I do really miss it...I enjoy my coffee too much to give it up completely!
