Yes, the fridge is very near my desk. But I think my problem is that my job is so sedentary. I am at my desk 10-12 hours a day whereas with my last job I was walking around all day and lifting heavy things around. Definitely have to make more of a point now to get in my exercise.

The offices I've worked in have always allowed eating at any time, so working at home is no different. Just need to stay focused on what you're doing an not allow yourself off the hook and get distracted. On some level, distraction is a choice. If you need a break, go take a walk around the block!

I've got terrible habbit of smoking 3 cigs a day, so it keeps me a lil bit of snacking, but still i snack a lot. But i'm not fattening. Just choose your snacks wisely.

I can stay out of the fridge, but it's the candy jar that calls me. I have a sweet tooth and love my candy. Sitting most of the day and age has taken its toll on my hips.

We still have Halloween candy, and it's right next to the desk...and it's tempting, even though it isn't candy I'd normally eat!
