Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocre minds. The latter can not understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence. -Albert Einstein

Go thy way and as thou believed it shall be unto thee.

We work day after day, not to finish things, but to
make the future better ... because we will spend the
rest of our lives there. -- Charles F. Kettering.

Default Encouraging!!!

"Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
2 When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;

and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.

When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.

3 For I am the LORD, your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;

Isaiah 43:1-3

The trick is in what one emphasizes. We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same.

One of my favorite quotes. It keeps me centered and focused.

Default A TRue Leader

To know how to do a job is the accomplishment of labor;
To be available to tell ohers is the accomplishment of the teacher;

To inspire others to do better work is the accomplishment of management;
To be able to do all three is the accomplishment of true leaders.

My favorite quote of all time is from the old movie Auntie Mame:

"Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death."

I think this says a lot. I try to live by it.
