There is a song that says: "It's the little things that make me love you more."
It really is the little things in life that give so much joy! Money cannot buy time spent with loved ones! A kiss, a kind word, a helping hand, a smile!!! ...A THANKFUL HEART! Wow! A thankful Heart really does give joy!

Happy list
What makes me happy? Here are a few things:
Raindrops on roses...whiskers on kittens.... just kidding. my kids' smiles and laughter...I'm happy when I know they're happy finding forgotten money in my pocket finding forgotten money from my DH's pocket when I do laundry  looking through my scrapbooks at all the fun memories good food..especially if I didnt have to cook it good music funny jokes being with friends and family warm brownie with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge

Your goal is to do the work in front of you (mourn and grieve) not to be happy. you have had something happen that creates sadness. your job is to feel that sadness to its fullest extent. only when you have completely felt the depth of that sadness can you truly be happy again. trying to circumvent or avoid the sadness will leave you trapped by it forever. be sad. mourn and grieve. feel lost. cry and journal and sing and dance and wail and pound and hit and just absolutely feel and express your sad feelings.natural shampoo

Every morning when I get up and walk 15 feet to work (in my PJ's)!
Sipping my tea in my home office, looking out the window and seeing squirrels gathering nuts and hearing the birds singing! Getting a call from my daughter and hearing (once again) how much she loves college! So many more, so little time! Diane

Just by thinking about what makes me happy, is comforting. Thank you.
When my grown son says he loves me. A gorgeous sunset. Smelling roses When friends say hello When someone is encouraged by something I said or resource I passed on Refrigerator full of fresh food AC on a 90 degree day Heat on a sub freezing day Doing Tai Chi with soothing instrumental music Fitting in my jeans
