Do you have a holiday favorite, or maybe a great recipe to share?

My favorite Thanksgiving receipe is Sweet Potato Casserole. It's
basically mashed up sweet potatoes baked with pecans, butter and spiced rum. Really yummy. Denise

My favorite would have to be green bean casserole. Don't Laugh it is new to me. I am 34 and only discovered it 3 years ago. MMmmm LOL. I guess I could make it more often. Mmmm, deniseg79. That sounds rich..

I would have to say that I like the stuffing the best. It must be the way that my family cooks it, but I look forward to that more than I do to eating the turkey. I also love the cranberry sauce, even though when I was younger, I couldn't stand it. It is now one of my favorite things at the thanksgiving table.

OMG!! Love my moms green beans covered in velveta cheese, and oddly my sister homemade mac N cheese with Jalepenos!!! (watery mouth) Im not much of a cook, I always try, but everyone laughs... thats okay... I laugh at myself too!! This year, we are going to grandma and granpas for turkey day, grandma had a massive stroke in Feb. and miraculously recovered with almost no signs, doctors told us she was dying as we speak, no time for goodbyes... gramps said the heck with that, rushed her to another hospital where they put a stunt in her head to drain the fluid, she was in a coma for a little over a week, couldnt walk or remember much and now shes got herself joineb back in with tops (weightloss place) and dug out her old sewing machine to sew with me, walking, talking and bossing gramps around, just like old times LOL. So the fam. decided we better make it special this year! My grandmother is remarkable, God has truely blessed our family!!! Oops... got carried away!! Just cant wait for turkey day!!
